ShipBid

For carriers

Loads that already know where they're going

Forwarders, consolidators, NVOCCs, movers and truckers all quote here. Shippers anywhere post what they need moved: pallets, cartons, a household, a vehicle, across a border or down the road. You quote the lanes you already run, and the shipper pays you directly.

How it works for carriers

1

Apply

Tell us about your business: where you operate, years running, insurance, and DOT/MC if you run your own trucks in the US. We review every application by hand, usually within one business day.

2

Find shipments

Browse open listings, or save a lane search by country, region or US state. New matches arrive by email and in your notification bell.

3

Quote your price

Enter what you want to receive and an estimated transit time. Ask questions publicly if the listing is missing a detail. Set a minimum and we'll auto-lower your quote to stay lowest.

4

Win and deliver

When the shipper books you, their contact details unlock. Arrange pickup, deliver, and collect your price directly from them. Leave and receive a review.

Free to quote

No subscription, no lead fees, no percentage taken from your price. The shipper pays a separate booking deposit to the platform.

Fair competition

Everyone quotes on the same public listing and the same public answers. Your rating and completed-job count sit next to your price.

Protected reputation

Reviews are tied to completed bookings, so nobody can leave one without shipping with you. Report abusive listings from the job page.

Carrier FAQ

What does it cost?+

Nothing. There is no subscription and no per-quote fee. The shipper pays a booking deposit to the platform; you collect your full quoted price from them on delivery.

Who can join?+

Registered transport businesses in any country: freight forwarders, consolidators, NVOCCs, moving companies, couriers and owner-operators. US motor carriers need an active DOT/MC record; international forwarders don't. We check registration and insurance details before approving.

How do I get paid?+

Directly by the shipper on completion. Cash, card, transfer, whatever the two of you agree. We recommend collecting on delivery, not before pickup.

Can I see who the shipper is before I quote?+

You see the route, item details, photos and the shipper's review history under an anonymous handle. Contact details unlock only when they book you.

Who handles customs and duties?+

You and the shipper settle that between you. ShipBid doesn't clear customs or collect duties. Say plainly in your quote what's included: door-to-door or to port, duties prepaid or payable by the consignee, and what paperwork you need from them. Quotes that spell this out win more often.

What if the shipper cancels?+

If they cancel after booking, their deposit is forfeited. You're free to quote on other jobs; a cancellation by the shipper never counts against your record.

By applying you agree to the Carrier agreement. ShipBid is a marketplace, not a carrier or broker.
